I am a longtime information wage slave (i.e. newspaper reporter) who lives, eats and breathes words: their usage, the way they’re strung together to form beautiful paragraphs, pages and books.
Other than that, I’m a random girl with a penchant for stream of conciousness. So welcome to my grab-bag blog.
It’s like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.
Sort of like me.
Here’s some trivia for ya about me. ‘Cause that’s what this page’s about.
10 years ago I was:
1. A really new college grad
2. Working three jobs
3.Poor
4. Young
5. Loving my boyfriend.
5 things on today’s to-do list:
1.Get groceries

3. Create a high-calorie meal to reverse this losing weight thing (I know, such a problem)
4. clean out my closets (didn’t do it though)
5. Watch the Gators play and win againstLSU
5 snacks I enjoy:
1. Chips and salsa
2. Wheat Thins and sharp chedda.r
3. Kraft Easy Mac
4. Popcorn
5. Chocolate chip cookies.
5 things I would do if I were a millionaire:
1. QUIT WORK and write a book
2. Travel the world
3. Fund some of my friends’ world domination plans (just kidding. Sort of).
4. Pay off all my debt.
5. Not spend most of my new-found millions.
5 places I have lived:

5 jobs I have had: ( A sorry goes out to Ginger. I inadvertently kept her job info instead of updating with mine. Hers was much cooler.)
1. A retail associate at various locations. I count this as one job, because it sort of all blends together.
2. A newspaper reporter
3. A camp counselor
4. A library clerk
5. A cafeteria worker (I was desperate in college).
Your jobs are my jobs?! Hey now….
I’m sorry, I thought I edited that! It will be corrected shortly.
Dear J.L.:
I love your poetic opening sentence describing how writers live in the shadows. Thank you for the visibility you gave to Coral Springs authors.
I do have two poetry books in the main library and strongly doubt if they are read; but, I’m overjoyed by some students at Broward College who desire to read them. Though expensive for me, I freely hand them out and they are actually read.
It is almost absurd that local authors are not featured. One of my poetry books is in Neruda’s library in Spain; another is in the Poetry Society of London, and a third in the national archives in Australia. One is in Poet’s House in New York.
Thanks again.

I ideally would like to write a travel novel of some sort. Something that requires me to live in a community for a while and talk to as many people as possible. That would be awesome!
